Overview
Ember & Peri is a concept site for a fictional flame-grill restaurant serving steaks and piri-piri chicken. It had to make you hungry in one screen, then get you from the menu to a booked table without friction.
The challenge
Most people choosing where to eat are on a phone, often with friends, deciding fast. They want to see the food, check prices, know how hot the chicken is, and book a table before the group moves on.
The solution
Fire footage behind a big, warm hero line; a full menu with prices; a “Find your fire” picker that explains each heat level; and a four-step booking flow with open, limited and full time slots. Motion is CSS only, and the video and reveals switch off for reduced motion.
